Tegljenje odnosno potiskivanje plovnih objekata
broda.
Kada više brodova istovremeno traži tegljenje, odnosno potiskivanje, a nema dovoljno tegljača,
materije.
Broj tegljača, odnosno potiskivača, njihovu snagu i vučnu silu u odnosu na tip, veličinu i
opremljenost broda koji koristi usluge tegljača, odnosno potiskivača, način vršenja vuče,
odnosno potiskivanja i bliže uslove u pogledu tipa, veličine i opremljenosti broda iz stava 6 ovog
člana propisuje Ministarstvo.
Towing or pushing of vessels
When a ship enters in the port and the ship leaves the port, the master of the ship is obliged, for
the safety of the ship or the port, to request the use of a tug.
The master of the ship, in agreement with the pilot, determines the number of tugs that will be
used to maneuver the ship.
If the pilot considers that the number of tug or tugs does not guarantee the safety of the ship or
port during the maneuvering of the ship, he will inform the competent Harbor Master’s Office,
which will determine the minimum number of tug or tugs needed for safe maneuvering.
When several ships request towing or pushing at the same time, and there are not enough tugs,
the Harbor Master’s Office determines the priority of towing or pushing, taking into account that
liner ships have priority.
Notwithstanding paragraph 2 of this Article, the Harbor Master’s Office may determine a larger
number of tugs, when the weather conditions are bad, the port is overcrowded, maneuvering
several ships at the same time or when the ship is transporting dangerous goods.
Notwithstanding paragraph 1 of this Article, the use of tugs may not be requested by the master
of the ship if that ship meets the requirements regarding the type, size and equipment of the
ship.
The provision of paragraph 6 of this Article shall not apply in case of ship breakdown, bad
weather conditions, port overcrowding, simultaneous maneuvering of several ships or when the
ship is transporting dangerous goods.
Number of tugs, their strength and towing force in relation to the type, size and equipment of the
ship using the services of tugs, the method of towing or pushing and more detailed conditions
regarding the type, size and equipment of the ship referred to in paragraph 6 of this Article are
prescribed by the Ministry.
